Our Mission

ROOSTA is more than a delivery service - we're a catalyst for community development. While our primary focus is on providing efficient logistics solutions, we're also part of a broader vision.

The Good Food Project, which we support, is a community food service, system, and co-op initiative currently in planning mode. This includes exploring the possibility of establishing a mega purpose-built community kitchen aligned with Tāmaki College's Masterplans. We also support Soul Food & Friends - a social enterprise that connects with schools and small businesses to bring soul food to the local community in Tamaki and beyond.

Our Story

Founded in 2023, ROOSTA started as a small initiative focused on supporting local businesses in the Tāmaki community of Glen Innes, Panmure, and Point England with transport and logistics solutions. We recognised the unique challenges faced by our local businesses and set out to make a difference.

ROOSTA goal is to be a crucial link in Tāmaki's local economy, connecting businesses with customers, supporting community initiatives, and creating local employment opportunities. We're proud to be the logistics backbone of Project Rise, helping to service vital community projects like Soul Food and Friends and The Good Food Project.

We are a Project Rise Initiative 

Project Rise a groundbreaking initiative developed by Tāmaki Connect Trust in partnership with Tāmaki College, is revolutionising community development in our rohe. Project Rise is not just connecting the college with the local community – it is creating a powerful engine for positive change in Tāmaki.

Our Project Rise kaupapa:

  1. Co-design: We work hand-in-hand with the community to create projects that address real, on-the-ground needs.

  2. Community Governance: Our unique model ensures that every initiative is truly for and by the people of Tāmaki.

  3. Holistic Development: Through education, community projects, and social enterprises, we're driving comprehensive social and economic growth.
